Ubisoft has pinned Watch Dogs to a first quarter 2014 release. The news comes from the company’s third quarter earnings announcement.

“Fiscal 2014-15 will see an exceptional games line-up, with the release of five major titles including Just Dance, The Crew and Watch Dogs, which is scheduled for release in the first fiscal quarter,” CEO Yves Guillemot writes. The publisher has spoken again about which platforms on which the game will appear.

the delay really killed my hype for this game..

Yeah, it was my No. 1 launch title, and now I could see waiting months for price drop.

That's still pretty non-specific. They must be really running down to the wire on development even with the delay. I wonder if it is just the 4-One version that's really locking things up like this?

Not near as hyped about Watch dogs now seems the delay killed my hype. Would have had a bigger impact had it released closer to launch, now it's coming after Infamous, Titanfall, and close to witcher 3.

We were supposed to get this game during the PS4/One launch period. I honestly  don't see how delaying this game by at least 5 months was a good idea.

Still hyped ,But I'm worried about the game's quality now.

Kind if over it now. I think I still have it pre-ordered on Amazon though.

Its better for them to make a good polished game and for it to take longer then them to release it before it is ready and glitches damage the game. With that said I was never very hyped for this game, but my GF is still VERY hyped for it
