It's likely to end up a few points higher than Melee, which bearly made it to 90%. I'd surmise a score in between 91%-93%.
Hopefully not many websites take IGN's attitude and say it's not as good as Metroid or Galaxy (which I understand is wholly an opinion and may be true for many).

I haven't played Brawl, but I just know it in my heart that it will be a game to remember and replay for months, if not years, to come.

In reality, this means nothing. It'll average around 95% I'm guessing. I know IGN wont give it more than a 9.7 . Im guessing a 9.6 from IGN.

So it really has 4 100%.

IGN said it wasn't nearly as good as MP3 or SMG, so I'm guessing they will give a 9.2 max, probably a 9.0.

EDIT: Scratch that, I think IGN will give a 7.5 for SSBB. IGN is a bitch when it comes to control, they butchered Guilty Gear for the Wii because Wiimote control was bad, whereas classic control was perfect. BUT, they said, not everyone has a classic controller so we can't take it with us in the review.

It's already known SSBB doesn't control well with the Wii controls, so IGN will probably give a 7 or so for gameplay instead of a 9.5 when using classic control.

I wouldn't worry about Nintendo Power's ratings. There are some Nintendo-only games that have been given low scores before. You would think Pokemon Diamond/Pearl would get a big score in the magazine, but it didn't. They gave Mario Galaxy 9.5, so don't think that they will rate Nintendo-only games high scores, because they don't do that from time to time.

Wow, it seems like anything that's an online shooter or Nintendo-made becomes grossly overrated. I hate how only Nintendo is allowed to have to have variety. This will be the only fighting game to score 90% this entire generation, which will be idiotic.
