What do you think Nintendo's next hardware move will be regarding the 3DS?  Do you think they will release a more comfortable 3DS like what the DS Lite was to the DS?  Or do you think the next 3DS will have new features, and be like what the DSi was to the DS?  Or do you think that they will go straight to the 9th generation system?  Please leave your thoughts and reasonings.

Mine:  3DSi.  I say this because the XL was a Lite in many ways.  It is more comfortable, better battery life, and the stylus is in the proper place.  I also think that it is simply way too early to go the ninth generation system, nor do I think they would want to spend so many years without at least a minor hardware update.

The only thing I see them doing is releasing a 3ds pro with the same size as the xl, the dual analog sticks, and a ridiculous battery life.

They could release that maybe first quarter of 2015, then launch their new handheld in either 2016-2017

I actually think that the 2DS will never see a revision.  It is an entry level system, so it is best suited for the start of the generation.  Also, it is marketed towards younger children, so an XL would not be ideal for their wittle hands.

The point of the DSi was to add more internet features to the DS, was it not? The 3DS already has all it needs there, it doesn't need a new piece of hardware for something like that. I think a cheaper design, like the 2DS but without losing the hinge, portability, or the 3D, hopefully also taking care of the battery problem a bit better than the XL did, would be the best option for Nintendo next. Either that, or something completely different.

I thought it was to add the cameras? A 3dsi with better cameras wouldn't be a bad thing imo

3ds 3dsll/xl and 2ds are probably the only revisions we will ever see
