The defining game of this generation, Wii Sports, is a gimmick? I guess this is the gimmick generation. Next up, Wii Fit.

Damn those games that only cost you what? Nothing (in the US), and how much is it in Japan? And you only get a few good hours out of it before it's "gimmicky." That's just a waste. I'd rather take a great game like Heavenly Sword and pay $60 for it, and get a good 6 hours out of it. Which is WAY more than I got out of WiiSports.

You know, just because you beg not to be flamed when you make a fanboyish statement, doesn't mean you shouldn't be.

 

When you hate the Wii, it clouds your judgement. When your free of hate, you tend to start making topics about systems you like, and not about things you don't.

 

This is a fanboy troll, I don't care how long it is, and in the end, it's just as disgusting and hate-filled as the rest, granted in a more passive-agressive manner.

The Wii only holds 51% of the home conosle market. (for weekly sales, in america, and TOTAL sales, is under 50% of home console)

The PS2 dominated with around 70% *total* console sales.

There is NO Wii domination going on, the Wii is WAAY ahead of PS3/360/PS2.

My point is, a console only dominates, with the other consoles are 'loosing'. The 360 is doing GREAT, and the PS3 isnt doing that bad.


Adding the PS2 isn't cherrypicking.

Every time I say something bad about the wii, even though it's not about saying the Wii sucks, people say I'm bashing the Wii. Ehmm.. yes we do. Wii outsells PS3 and 360 combined for the last past weeks and will continue to do so at least until GTA 4 hits the US.

I do, however, agree you're not bashing the Wii. Wii fans are too sensitive to trolling around here.

NEWSFLASH! I have just arbitrarily redefined "Market Domination" to mean that a console must have over 85% of the market share! Turns out that the PS2 didn't dominate either.
