Forums - Gaming - Flappy birds will be taken down tomorrow from IOS/Android

Seriously... what the fuck is wrong with some people? (I am referring to the people on twitter)

I've played flappy birds before and yes the game isn't a masterpiece nor did it invent something crazy, special ...
BUT the hate this guy gets is just. what the hell?

Unless he ripped off Mario Bros. on purpose and just wanted to make a lot of cash in an instant, I don't get it. He seems like someone that is new to the scene of mobile games.
Man, cut him some slack...

Omfg, I hate people who discover their games through over-aged tweens like pewdiepie and crap. "Eww, this game sucks.. wait, piewdiepie plays it?! OMG HAS TO TRY!11!"

Incidents like this really show what a terrifying place the internet really is, cause for all the good things it's brought upon us, it has also given millions of disgusting lowlife scumbags like these the possibility to openly and directly attack basically any person they want.

Congratz internet community you have once again proven that you're collectively the biggest bully that has ever existed.

Also he's working on another game, according to his twitter, experimenting with motion controls.

This phrase fits pretty well here...

If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

I feel for the guy, he's from Vietnam, one of four communist countries left in the world. He's probably not used to the capitalist consumer. Even if a product is free, it will get feedback, usually bad feedback, since only those who are mad are moved enough to reply.

Yeah I was shocked when I heard this. I really don't like the game but there's no denying its huge success and popularity at this point. I heard its making $50,000 a day through ad revenue. I really don't understand why it would be taken down. I would like to hear his reasoning.

Vietnam is not a communist country.

He should release a spiritual successor with less copyright infringement.

You mean the green pipes?

Considering how much unwarrented controversy is surrounding it... yes.

I'm not sure why this game is popular, though. Jetpack Joyride already did something like this, but is far better.

Out of geniune curiosity of the question of why the game is popular please define how Jetpack Joyride is better?

Vietnam is not a communist country.

Vietnam's been communist ever since the hippies forced the United States to withdraw. Currnetly China, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam are the only communist nations.
