I think is for the better, probably the Illuminati send this idea to the creator to make millions and millions of peoples lose their jobs, and the creator just realize that.

I would've kept it up and added a level called "haters gonna hate" and had the main character jumping over all the people who bashed it!!! :p

I doubt many people realize that he is a young kid, living in Vietnam of all places (hint, not first world), who is taking his first steps in game-making. His simple 2-day effort blows up into a global phenomena due to PewDiePie and now he is a target of vitriolic hatred, press hounding him relentlessly, scammers latching on him trying to fleece money, and I am sure the Communist government is interested in his money too. Based on his tweets (for a long period of time before Flappy Bird), he is just a simple guy who wants a quiet life. Yes, he made enough money to retire (especially with the cost of living in Vietnam), but it is not his fault his game went viral. Green pipes are hardly going to land him in legal trouble.

There is no evidence of any bots or other under-handed tricks. But there is plenty of evidence that gamers are heartless, spiteful haters who cannot stand someone else becoming financially successful.

There is a lot of talk about who is a "Real Gamer" and who is not. To me anyone who talks to a Dev like that, no matter what the game in question, is not a real gamer. I don't care are you are a fan of console, PC, Mobile, casual, Hardcore, RPG, FPS or whatnot, anyone who sinks to that level of bile should be shunned by the community.

Considering how much unwarrented controversy is surrounding it... yes.

I'm not sure why this game is popular, though. Jetpack Joyride already did something like this, but is far better.

Ok, I've tried to read up on the subject, but to no exact results. What the devil is all the fuss about this game? People angry at him just because they didn't like the game? (I don't know what the game is about, or anything, I just know that it contains some green pipes very reminiscent of Mario)

How immature to knock someone down for something that's free. If a thing is completely free no one should really complain, but maybe offer their opinion on what they think sucks...

The game is frustratingly difficult, at least at first. I have a bunch of friends that uninstalled the game after 5 minutes, which is what these people should do. If a game annoys you just delete it. As simple as that.
