I´m reading on twitter something about a DLC

Around the Network

now something about Sonic Advance HD Collection ?

The art is definitly from the new TV series.

I guess they might announce a tie-in game in time.

DLC had already been announced with Nintendo partnerships, but oh well... Its the SEGA we got nowadays.

Sonic Advance HD could be interesting. Sonic advance 1 and 3 are quite good.

common, where we can see the details?
link? live stream? a name to follow on twitter?

Sonic doesn't only need a new game, but they need to start dumping off all those extra characters they added through the years. It's time to reboot and start with just Sonic, Eggman and maybe Tail & Metal Sonic.

They've done that, though. None of the "main" Sonic games (discounting portable titles and the Sonic Storybook games on Wii) have had anybody but Sonic playable since Sonic 2006 (the last one with others playable).

If anything, we need more playable characters to come back, not fewer.

I would also add to that: Sonic works best as a 2D/on-rails series. If Sonic stayed roughly like what Generations was (or like Sonic 4, but more polished) and they made them mid-budget titles that retailed for $30-40, the franchise would do well. It seems like every time they experiement with something new it falls flat. Sonic is always best when he plays in a way closer to his Genesis-era games.

For my part, i greatly dislike the idea that the 3D sections need to be "on rails." Lost World finally chucked that dumb decision that they made starting with Unleashed (though Secret Rings really had the start of it) and was much better off for it.

Im fairly skeptical of the source but overall this seems like some pretty tame and expected info...we need more!
