Good for PS4, bad for XOne.
Everything else is meh to expected

You know its not about the number of countries shipped to but it's the number of units sold to consumers. As long as the PS4 is shipped to countries with a high enough demand regardless of the number of countries, the PS4 with still have sold the same amount. Cmon... you're smart enough to know that.
Can Xbone reach Wii U levels?
I predict a really good fight for lifetime sales.
Wii U still above 40k, not bad all things considered. 2014 will be an ok year for Wii U with all the high profile games and North America seem to like it. Xbox one might find that fight for second spot harder than they thought?

Well, until we know for sure what their output is, rumors don't mean much to me. That having been said, I've no idea what the Asian preorder numbers are like either. Think how warmly they've received other home grown hardware in the past, and who knows this could be a fairly massive Asian launch for Sony.
Also, I doubt that the initial run of PS4's had any stock dedicated to the Asian launch, given how hard it's been for some to find the console on shelves in places they HAVE launched. So it's likely that whatever they are reserving for the Asian launch, has been from what's been manufactured since launch. Or do you think that's unlikely?

Same here. I would hate to see another down year in the industry. Obviously these are early days, but I would have imagined much higher numbers with 2 next gen consoles out.
PS4 is...really high up there. These numbers are pretty crazy without Japan.

Seriously? This is so trollolicious.
Wii in the same week did 251,288 with Japan.
169k without Japan.
PS4 and Wii are neck a neck the weekly sales... PS4 will hold a strong launch so the lifetime are huge.
This comparision deservers a graph and own thread.
