Just me or these numbers seems low to PS4?

You gotta imagine that Sony's been holding some product for the upcoming Asian launch.

Ps4  rules lol.. obviously..they are in more countries guys..cmon..

It is doing that in every country... even US and UK.

I am not disputing that.. all i am saying is 48 countries > 13 lol..duh

And in every country both Consoles are in The ps4 is on top, must tell you something ?

The fact that xbone is selling crappy in Europe must surely tell something as well.

The PS4 numbers are lower than I thought. I was expecting over 200k.

X360 is dead. It is the oldest console in the race. It put up a good fight in it's lifetime and has my respect. There are however some that believe it will sell 100m. Haha.

Wii U is a strange animal. It spent most of last year shifting around 25k a week so I will say at 42k it's doing OK. If it can maintain around 40K it should be OK until the big games hit.

I agree that they may be holding some back, but the rumoured 1.2m+ per month suggests they are producing 300k per week. Surely they can't be holding back half of what they produce every week. Its either that or they aren't producing as much as they are rumoured to be.

Awesome PS4 RULES!!! :P

Where's that in the heading dear Ethomaz?

That's a rather silly argument, the One has launched in it's two most powerful regions.  North America and Europe, and in both those regions, they are behind.  PS4 has yet to launch in it's HOME country, so Sony is obviously holding units in reserve for the Asian launch, and they're still handily beating the One sales.  Do you really think that when Microsoft does finally launch in the remaining regions, they'll be shifting more units than EU/US/Asia combined?  Cause, I sure don't.

PS4s were in stock at every store I saw this weekend. First time that I've seen that since launch. So we'll finally know in Feb's numbers what the actual week-to-week demand is. PS4 is having peak weeks here after finally being available to those who were waiting for it but couldn't find it.

Let's not lose sight of a basic fact here: the only console doing so bad that it's pathetic is Wii U. X1 is selling twice as much as that in less regions. Just because the PS4 is doing spectacularly well right now doesn't mean that doing less than that is a failure. It's like when the Wii was dominating: people still played 360 and PS3 in large numbers. Wii fans didn't think that the PS3 would stop being sold.

People who are spinning the success of the PS4 into imminent doom for the X1 are being a little ridiculous. Can't you enjoy your currently high sales without taking it to absurd, unwarranted extremes? After all, the PS3 wasn't discontinued after a year, and it was in a similar position.
