Forums - Nintendo - the OTHER IP that nintendo should start making themselves: Eternal Darkness

There were multiple tries last few years to get a spiritual succesor on pc and wii u, but due to bad luck or cp these attempts failed.

Nintendo should take matters in their own hands and follup their very first M rated game!

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

M rated!? *gasp* but that would be bad for the kiddies.

Anybody knows what's the deal with the "Shadow of the eternals" now? Is it developed? Who does that? If the kickstarter doesn't reach it's goal, is the money returned?

If I were Nintendo, I would come to them right after failure of its kickstarter, dress up as saviour and help produce the game, then publish it as nintnedo.

Viola. Next "dark" game that everybody craves know, right after zombiU!

afaik everyone who supported it got a refund the first time

I find myself posting in a lot of your threads, kirb

I think it's a good idea, although I would farm it out to Tecmo. And while Nintendo has Tecmo on the phone it should commission a new Fatal Frame game. I really think Nintendo could make WiiU a destination for survival horror fans, as it did with the GameCube. There's still a huge demand for intelligent, scary horror games and Nintendo has the properties (and money) to satisfy that demand.

Dyack should be nowhere near it.

I totally agree, what a pity this game never got the sequel it deserved.

Such an awesome game.

I would love an ED sequel! Nintendo doesn't need to do it themselves just look over it so the quality is top notch

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Only if it can do justice to the original...
If that's impossible, then I will settle for a HD remake...

Have a nice day...

The game didn't even hit the half way mark for its kickstarter. Clearly interest is very low.
