"Game Jams are often the precursor for things to come, and Fru, a product of Global Game Jam 2014, just might be the start of something for Microsoft's Kinect.

The platform-puzzler by Mattia Traverso and his team of six developers was created in 48 hours and it puts Kinect's camera and motion controller to clever use. See how it works in the demo trailer below:

Interesting.
In fractured souls for 3DS we saw similar mechanics.

WTF, I read "Kung-Fu Panda" instead of "Kinect Put". It's good that someone is actually using the Kinect.

It's Closure played with your body instead of light and shadow.
Also reminds me of trials of Topoq.

It would be a challenge to make it work for all body types and kids to adult sizes.

I am still waiting for the Kinect 2.0 to be used in a next gen sex game.  This is still cool though!

Nice. this could have really good potential. And looks like a really good platformer could come out of this. This is why Im glad MS include with every console. Because more devs will believe its worth making Kinect stuff and good ideas, because they know the install base is the same as it was with the wii.
