Yeap with five more characters... one of them is hidden yet.

I doubt it. Disney ruins everything :(
If they are bringing it to ps4 also they better make significant upgrades, if not then what would be the point of the ps4 version. If they are making significant upgrades to the ps4 version then what would be the point of SFV.

In capcom's defense, you only truly rebought the game once. SS4 -> SSF4 was a huge upgrade. I forgot the exact numbers but the game's restore was more than doubled. 12 characters to 30, something around a 250% increase. In addition, each character had 2 Ultras instead of 1 and there were tons of balance tweaks. The following iterations were all done through DLC and Patches. You didn't have to buy SSF4 Arcade Edition, they just made it available on disc but you had the DLC option. Same with SSF4Arcade v2012.
Ultra will also be available as 15$ DLC (PC, forgot the Console price but if anything, it was less), and that's for new and much need balancing tweaks as well as 5 new characters and the ability to have both your Ultras at once, and the Red Focus mechanic. If you don't have the previous game, Ultra is 40$. Doesn't sound bad to me.
EDIT: This iterations also come with new modes. I'm pretty hyped for Online Practice mode myself.

Well just to defend the DS3 this time... fighting games was close to unplayable with the terrible d-pad found in 360's controller... I guess that the reason fighting games did better on PS3. |
Tisk tisk. Playing fighting games with a controller? Shameful.
Both controllers were generally mediocre for fighters but the DS4 is a massive improvement. Hell give me some good fighters this year, and I'll buy a PS4 just for that.

How was the DS3 mediocre for fighters, especially compared to the 360's controller? You realize there's tons of competitive players who use them? Just look at top Tekken players in America; most of them use PS2/PS3 controllers. And I think Guilty Gear Xrd comes out this year for PS4, so there's that. And obviously it's looking like Ultra SF4 will come, too.

That's fine, it's their play style they can use whatever they want, if they like it then so be it. I and many others perfer to play with fight sticks over controllers, no need to get defensive.
