I only follow the KHL, sorry. :P
Russia is more near, even have games in the same time zone as me. The NHL play's a more aggressive style of hockey, so I prefer the European/Russian style, it's more interesting to watch. And I hope we will get some Asian team in that league eventually.

What do you think about the Asian League?

The hockey league? It's an okay league for what it is. The Chinese team is pointless, to say the least. The team barely goes around and the imports are the worst in the whole league, not a single good import. And on top of that Chinese hockey is a fair bit behind both Korea and Japan. And for the team to be based in Shanghai doesn't make it any better. It should be based in Haerbin and have half the Chinese national team and the other half with good imports. The Japanese and Korean top teams can be fun to watch however when they play. Some good/great imports and some good national team players as well.
I guess the league can be compared to CHL or something like that. Almost comparable to tier-2 leagues in Europe but still not there yet.
I would like to see a Korean or Japanese team in the KHL, or Asian team based in China/KO/JP or something. With the top Asian players and KHL/AHL-level imports. Would be really nice to watch them play. :)
For now my favourite team in the KHL is Vladivostok in the East coast of Russia.
