I believe this is true, in my humble oppinon :) Mouse is more accurate (at least you get more precision) alone but when you combine both sticks (controller), not only you are getting more accuracy but also it feels way more natural than a keyboard/mouse combo. It takes a while to become really good with a controller but it is really rewarding and it actually really feel ackward to move like  robot with a keyboard after that.

It isn't, that's why they are adding aim assist to controller players on PC. You may be better using a controller because you are used to it, but that's it. Didn't Microsoft cancel cross-platform gaming on Live because PC players always won?

Back on topic, I don't really care. Even if they didn't kill the servers, the player base will be way smaller in a few years and everyone will have moved to the sequels.

Funny, I always add "in my oppinion" but in your case you believe to speak the absolute truth, anyway.

I was a PC gamer playing mainly shooters and while it has been not easy at first to play with a controller (because of the aiming); after taking the time to master it: I can tell you for sure that it is its superiorities in certain areas that made it (for me) a more balanced/accurate option... Being able to aim a bit faster with a mouse is nothing compared to the natural feeling of the controller (moving arround, strafing, all analogic); I defintely (and I'm not the only one looking at a lot of different metrics) believe that a controller is more natural/accurate (on average) than a keyboard/mouse combo.

Also, other than pure speculation/assumption, do you have anything to back the bolded part (official words from Microsoft?).

If PSN plus users are ok about loosing access to a game when their sub is cancelled then Titanfall supporters should be fine with Titanfall as well. And for the record, Titanfall does not appeal to me and neither does PSN plus.

PSN users are losing access to their games if they do not pay for gold (or whatever the name of the subscription is) ? I thought the opposite.

it is a good point. You pay 60 dollars for a piece of software that you can only use if you pay more money. Most are probably not even thinking about it though. I would imagine some would get frustrated down the road, perhaps they cant afford live anymore, or maybe kids whose parents stop paying for live but itll be minimal.

with COD, you pay 60 bucks and you get a SP campaign, and for 5 bucks a month you can play online with others. if that online goes away you still have SP so its still something.

I think if you can't afford 50euros a year then you are going to have a lot more worries than not being able to play titanfall online... Starvation would come to mind as worry number 1 for me.

Lets say someone bought an XB1, a couple games and titan fall,  then towards summer they are laid off.  Now money is really tight but they are managing.   Now the live sub runs out,  50 bucks may be a big chunk of change.   So they choose to let it lapse.   Now TF  is completely useless to that person until they can pay for it again.  So yes hunger would be a big concern, but how does that change the fact they cant play TF anymore? it would suck for them because now they are in a tight spot, and the game they do have to try and unwind and forget about shit arent working.

I dont think this is a major issue and like i said will be minimal.  but there will be people who just dont think about it and down the line end up in a spot where they cant play anymore

If you lose your job, shouldn't you be a little more worried about getting another one rather than playing video games?

Why should I rent a multiplayer game? Theres no point unless it sucks.

hanks for worrying about my mental state, but im fine mate, as ive said i have this game on pre order, i also have infamous 2 on pre order looking forward to both.

This is not an attack on xbox, if this game was on PS4 it would be suffering the same rental problems.

And i have no trouble with the idea of renting i think PS plus is fantastic. But i know alot are against it that have also said there getting Titan Fall even tho its exactly the same, its and Xbox live gold rental.

But it isn't exactly the same, not at all?

Games drop off PS Plus.  If you decided not to purchase Live for six months, you could still go back and play Titanfall when you pick up live again later on...

No. You keep your PSN games forever. You can only play if you have plus though. It's 100% identical to buying a digital online only game. The only difference with a disc is that you can sell the game.

OT: I disagree with this line of thought, but it makes for a great response when people say ps+ games are rented. Either both are rentals, or none are.

Alright, but I mean come on, do you really think people with jobs actually sit around and wait for their Xbox Live to expire before adding more? No, we plan and have it for at least a year ahead. Hell I have it until 9/2016 just because I bought 2 twelve months for $70 last year. That's less than a tank of gas for me. But if I did lose my job, I wouldn't be sitting around playing Xbox, even at night I'd be filling out applications or sleeping because I have an interview in the morning.

They can get those games back if they subscribe back from their download list as long as they are PS+ member. They are giving a total of 5 games eveymonth(60 games a year less than 1$ for each game) just for 50$ a year for three platforms.

Why do people expect that they should be free for ever? If they give them free forever then Sony and developers will get huge losses and won't survive in 2/3 years. PS+ is a service which helps a lot of people around the world who cant afford to buy many games and its helping developers too a little. If you don't like PS+ service then don't subscribe to it in PS3/Vita (PS4 requires Online play this is an exception but it provides upto 25% PS+ discount, more value along with other two platforms and need money for sony to improve online network services).

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

My original post said itll effect a minimal amount of people.  there are circumstances that could lead to the scenario but very very few will.  But it is possible.  maybe the kids example is a better one where a punishment takes away live but not the console and games.  This isnt something that will pop up as a problem though lol  and hell its kinda like buying sporting gear.  I can pay hundredss for skis, but i still need to pay to use the lifts, and if i couldnt afford the lift ticket.. then im stuck with ski's and nothing to do lol

True, but it would still be hard for a kid to not get Live on their birthday AND christmas if they need it. They'd have to really be a bad kid, which shouldn't be on Live in the first place so it all works out.
