Ya know...for a game that most people on this site "dont care for", Ive seen so many threads trying to downplay it. People dont normally spend so much time discussing the things they dont care for do they?

i care for it i have it preordered on PC, i just wanted to know if people are ready for not owning games anymore, this is just the start.

So with Titan fall online only and having to pay to play online, its technically the MMO business model, of paying for the game and paying to play.

Are you ok with this, as i know alot of people think PSN plus is bad because its a glorified rental service and you never own anything. Do you feel the same about Titan Fall or are you willing to make an exception.

Also EA with there tendancy to kill of game servers pretty quick, you could end up with a coaster in 3-4 years?

Are you ready for this brave new world of ownership?

Mate, you need to be calm.  So the Xbox One has a big exclusive coming.  The PS4 has Infamous 2, and they'll both have big exclusives in the future.

Drawing tenuous links to business models that are entirely unrelated makes you look nervous, not informed.

Also, as I understand it, the Titanfall games are hosted free on MS servers for the life of the console.  As you point out, Titanfall could cease to be available in 3-4 years - though I can say confidentaly that this would only be because one of two things happened:

1.  Titanfall 2 (or even 3) has come out and everyone is playing that (I mean, who is still playing Halo 2 or Gears of War 2 since their predecessors released?); or

2.  Titanfall bombed hard and no-one is playing it at all, in which case, no one will care.

People bought Warhawk for PS3 didn't they?  And this game looks a lot better than that, with far better server support.

Thanks for worrying about my mental state, but im fine mate, as ive said i have this game on pre order, i also have infamous 2 on pre order looking forward to both.

This is not an attack on xbox, if this game was on PS4 it would be suffering the same rental problems.

And i have no trouble with the idea of renting i think PS plus is fantastic. But i know alot are against it that have also said there getting Titan Fall even tho its exactly the same, its and Xbox live gold rental.

I'll buy it. I know enough friends that are going to buy it so I'll get in on it.

See, here's a situation where it is truly sweet to be me; I'll be playing it on my PC, no silly fees, better in every technical aspect and superior controls.
Don't want to pay for online? Play games like these on PC, they are also the superior version.
Don't want to game on PC or don't have one? Well then you chose that so go with it and stop complaining.
I honestly don't understand why so many bother to play BF, CoD and other shooters on consoles when there's nothing but hassle and extra cost.

Casual PC gaming that is disguised as the superior form of gaming by marketing teams. If you play on consoles, you are better.

This is true, slowed down gameplay and auto-aim has been known to raise skill levels higher in gamers.

I honestly don't understand the inclusion of auto-aim in a competitive online shooter.

Games drop off PS Plus.  If you decided not to purchase Live for six months, you could still go back and play Titanfall when you pick up live again later on...

Creating that kind of thread and then keep repeating that it is a "rental"/Xbox live gold rental" knowing that IT IS NOT is just another of your attempts to antagonize Microsoft fans. At least have the balls to admit it and stop playing the little innocent card :)

Just to play your little game; here is my take on your non-sense OP: Like MANY games, when you "buy" it, it is yours and that's it; the fact the online servers may not be accessible (for any reason) has NOTHING to do with a rental model.

By the way, it is Titanfall, not Titan Fall (for someone who supposely pre-ordered it you seem to know little about it). At least, if you want us to believe that you care about the game (...) try to be more convincing!

That makes two (and hopefully more) of us. FPS games on consoles are highly inferior in almost every single way, in my honest opinion. I think I've bought 5-6 console FPS games in my entire life, most of them on sale and none of them online multiplayer like CoD.

Ok and if you dont pay for Internet then you cant play it on PC. Honestly tell me, who would have an Xbox One without Live? We know what we're getting into, its not going to be a surprise when we cant play Titanfall without a connection. We're not in the stone ages. But still, thanks for your concern for us getting the game on Xbox consoles. :D

controller is more accurate then mouse+keyboard

Even if that was the case, PCs officially support the Xbox 360 controller.

that would be like playing mario kart wii with a gamecube controller

I played Mario Kart Wii with a Dualshock 3 once. That was awesome.
