That's just the two games the OP mentioned.

If a movie is in theaters that looks interesting to me, I will go see it instead of thinking hey maybe something better will come out in 6 months. Consoles are a little different as the investment is a lot larger, but the logic remains. You want a console right now, nothing wrong with picking what they supposedly believe is the better lineup right now.


This isnt one person. This is a group. Because of this you should expect more conversation. This is of course my opinion. Can you honestly tell me that you think its reasonable that all 20 people just plop money down on a system that they havent even discussed past launch? You say you expect to be entertained from day one but what if (it wont but what if) either of these systems had a drought like the wii u? dont you think that should be flushed out? and discussed? wouldnt that be obnoxious to have a system you bought for one or two games and months later there isnt anything else to pick up when you want to move forward? We know thats not the case. Do they?

i mentioned DR3, forza, KI, Crimson Dragon, Ryse, Loco Cycle, Max brotherhood, Zoo tycoon, power shot golf. I mentioned these games and they are all launch titles exclusive to Xbox. I have been mentioning teh same games in this entire convo ,, i guess someone is not really following it. The others i mention before are teh upcoming ones that re suppose to be release this year liek quantum break, sunset overdrive, halo 5 or halo2 anniverasary, titanfall to name a few. i never said these were launch titles.Theres a difference. If i were to compare to ps4 laucnh exclusives, then you only have kz , knack, 5 free indies where only were good,, a ps game called flower, ps free mmo call dc online,, re reelease of injustice, sound shapes and a psvita game called escape plan. As you can see here theres only 2 AAA exclusives making it harder to pick for those planning to buy at launch.

No offense, but there's really no surprise or irony to this statement. Xbox has been THE brand of bros and the college crowd since the first one came out with Halo.

Are you even following this discussion? I never once said they made a bad decision. I never once said they should chose ps4 instead. Seriously, take the blinders off. Its simple, when a conglomeration is deciding to buy then more than one night with launch titles should be the basis of the purchase.

The whole time you have been complaining how that they wern't informed properly about a cheaper next gen consoles which si morepowerful and in theory goign to have good lineup of games in the futre adn that if tehy knew about the upcoming infamous then those 20 peopel would hav epick ps4. I think i summed it up quite nicely.

I think you need to go back and reread the thread. My first post started off, "weird youd make a decision based off launch titles" then it leads into some issues i see with different groups of people and say "I think this needs to be discussed to make and informed decision." Nowhere did I say those were the only topics that need to be discussed. Nor did I say it only needed to be about ps4. And i certainly didnt suggest that when it is discussed they would change their mind. So obviously you havent been following that closely.

Please don't waste our time with baseless assumptions. The only assumption we can safely arrive at here is these or 20 or so supposed people who love playing video games, so that should tell us they know a thing or two about the market and game releases.

Your alternative is they all sit in a circle and discuss future games, even though in the same post you assume they are all completely ignorant on the matter. So STAGE can list to these hypothetical people The Order, MLB, Drive Club, and whatever else for 2014 and they can look at him confused and bored. I really don't see what is so hard to understand about it. They know the libraries of two consoles right now and chose one over the other because they are currently enjoying the hell out of that one. The idea that these alleged people should stop enjoying that console and entertain the idea of buying another console that they know has no games they like, is ludicrous. Hope that helps, no point in discussing it further, you seem committed to being upset over their decision.

1st paragraph, yet no one brought up any future titles while all conversing around the new systems. Odd dont you think? When me and my co workers talk video games (which two do constantly) we usually converse about what we are looking forward to.

2nd paragraph, i think you need to look up upset in the dictionary (or look at stings posts)

the one with stage was exactly based on the fact that made a decision without discussing or being properly informed about the ps4 and what it has to offer hence why you replied to saying Ps4 has more games right now and more games coming soon. Weird.... Don't worry theres a thing called CTRL + C it copies everything accurately. i can spend few hours lookign for all your convo and compile a list to prov e you wrong but you are not worth my time .
