No matter what happens, 343 has gotten feedback and learned from their 1st major game. I have faith that Halo multiplayer will come back stronger than ever. |
Ummm... Where did i say this? I linked to that thread to show you that Halo's mp lasting force is at the lowest it has ever been. Halo 3 one year after release had 1 million concurrently players for a long time...
And the majority of those 10 million (where did you get those digital sales?) were sold within the game's first month, a time where everyone still expected the mp to deliver, hence the high player count on the first weeks and the HUGE drop off as soon as everyone realized the changes that were made.
Im just saying that this time around a lot of people will probaly be more wary to buy Halo 5 based solely on its multiplayer (waiting for reviews and impressions).
And i believe that yes, its possible that 343 learned its lesson from the community (i hope so).
Lastly, Uncharted's mp (2's in particular) had some pretty long legs, IIRC after one year of release it had 50k players, a feat very rarely accomplished by games that mostly rely on its single player to sell.
