The story is terrible, voice acting and character development is childrens level, the mech/jewel hunting missions were tedious. As for the Sonic/Shadow levels, those types of levels are recreated successfully in better games like Sonic Generations.

Give me a Chao simulator. That is what I would buy. Gimme more chao parks, more competitions, online competitions, in-depth breeding and chao customization mechanics and ways to customize your parks.

I agree with this, Sonic Adventures does not hold up well at all. I don't want anything from Sonic, just let the little hedgehog retire already. He's way past his peak.
