its May, people are just going to have to deal. Now i wonder when Smash is coming out. dont think ninty will do a midsummer release so im thinking August.

how do you know they are NOT working harder? how do you know they havent hired more people? I applaud them putting out a game when its READY and not for the sole purpose of moving consoles. Most of the people on this thread either have a WIi U or will get one soon so i dont see what a couple of weeks wait will hurt. I personally dont want a MK7 scenario again so kudos to them.

March or April would have been far more ideal. DKCR is going to be awesome, and it's going to sell well, but they REALLY need at least one more significant release between now and May. They really need something for March/April. Hopefully one of their other titles, like Yarn Yoshi perhaps, is ready to go. I could see it, considering that Good-Feel finished Kirby's Epic yarn back in 2010. They've had plenty of time to have probably come close to finishing Yoshi.

Because if they were, it'd be out in March. At this point their obsession with painstaking perfection is hurting them more than a few minor glitches would.

Game droughts will kill Wii U's 2014 just like they killed its 2013 if Nintendo lets it happen again.

Rushing Mario Kart 8 a month or two early isn't going to help the Wii U at all. The Wii U's problem is the Wii U.

They shouldn't have to rush to get it done in March. There is something deeply wrong with Nintendo's dev process if a cartoon Kart racer takes this long to make.

have you ever considered maybe this is the EARLIEST the can get the game out without its sucking? THey just cant snap their fingers and will stuff to come out sooner. Thats not how it works in reality.

They've had YEARS to make it; it's the team whose last game was MK7 in 2011. If the earliest they can provide it is May 2014, that speaks even more to their stupidity.
