It is not a rule but they posted some part of the R&D in the previous Qs before launch and some after... the first year of the consoles always reveive some impact from the R&D.

But no console ever did so good like PS4... so can the number os units (consoles and games) sold cover the R&D posted? That's the biggest question.

Sony is selling PS4 at a slight loss.. So i feel that they might be getting a bigger loss to show on their balance sheet.. But getting huge PlayStation plus members should ease some of it though..

How is it possible then they make so little money on the PS2?

I mean this thing was a killer Console. It was the ultimate Console in Europe, America, Japan and the rest of the World.

I just hope game makes a small profit. Though I guess they're a long way from recouping their development costs for PS4, though a lot of that much be in previous quarters.

LoL, this should be considered bannable at this point. Why is this still in use? 

No game console ever had big profits... 500 million per year is a huge success... FY2002 PS2 was close to 1 million operation profit... this is crazy for the videogame business.

If this data is correct there´s no problem. In fact I welcome more information in general. Why exactly should more information be a bad thing? Does reality really hurt your Sonyfan heart so much?
