THe specs for the Cube were 13 million polygons per second but it could probably do some more ,around 20-25 million .
Now the Wii is more powerful but not a lot more .Many of its extra power goes into displaying the same games in 480p and 16:9 .
I would say it can push some 40 million polygons per second ,something analog to the Xbox or even very slighty above .

The Cube did 480p also. If the wii is too. It was already stated the xbox only did 3 more than the game cube so that means the xbox is aroud 16-30 million.

Nope.
Early dev kits were just brown gamecubes which was just regular Gamecube dev kits Wii dev kits are Wii's with a green front with the specs you read in this thread.
@ People talking about Xbox ,that thing was just a PC trying to disguise itself as a console hell even the controller ports were disguised USB 2.0 ports.
The Wii's clock speeds are actually 729Mhz and 243Mhz. People have taken a look at Wii's they bought from retail, and the clock speeds are listed right there on the chips.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
Polycounts are always deceptive because they are listed by the second and not by the frame. Take each number and divide by 60 to get an accurate number. Also these are usually the bare minimum polygon that is no lighting and no textures (usually)... so that number will be reduced a bit more IRL.
