I don't care for such things. Because I have better stuff to do, we can't stop it anyway and I'm probably dead when it all goes really downhill.

The real scare are not the robots. Before they can even reach a certain level of sentience humanity will have much more severe sociological and ethical problems. That's partly because the robots taking more and more jobs and humans neglecting their social obligations for virtual reality.

I can't force you read anything, but the more you talk the more clear it is that you really NEED to read this as there are simply certain things that you are not considering.

Info wars is a conspiracy site,  an Alex Jones site.

 

The bilderberg group is a meeting of high level CEO's and rich people from around the world, as well as select politicians.   Lots of conspiracies surround them, mostly about how they truely run the world and are behind everything and pushing forward the world bank.   Over the summer there was a new conspiracy about google being involved and the CEO of google moving up the ranks.  I think they even called it "google-berg".

 

If your into that sorta stuff there is lots to read and dig up.  But some of it gets a little far fetched.

I hate that people are looking at what I'm talking about as a conspiracy.  That makes it easy to dismiss.  There is no conspiracy here that I see anyway, unless you want to believe that they are such believers in the fabled Singularity that they are trying to speed it up.  I guess that's possible, but that's not really the thrust of what I was hilighting.  

Judging by the interest this thread is getting, it's becoming more clear to me that arguing over NeoGAF insiders is more important to people here than sci-fi horror becoming reality ...

NeoGAF's off topic section (which is about all I can tolerate as of late) is very big and active.  And Kotaku talks about EVERYTHING, often including stories from sisters sites such as io9 and Gizmodo.

I'm generally not worried about killer robot armies... can't see it being a worry until robots get much much more sophisticated.

EMP's /Robots general clumsy mechanics make robot revolution only slightly more of a pain to deal with then a real life Zombie outbreak.

I actually agree more on that than the A.I.  That is the one that scientist are haphazardly in a hurry to push as far as it could go with little consideration of the risks.
