I hate that people are looking at what I'm talking about as a conspiracy. That makes it easy to dismiss. There is no conspiracy here that I see anyway, unless you want to believe that they are such believers in the fabled Singularity that they are trying to speed it up. I guess that's possible, but that's not really the thrust of what I was hilighting.
Judging by the interest this thread is getting, it's becoming more clear to me that arguing over NeoGAF insiders is more important to people here than sci-fi horror becoming reality ...
