Never. Sure sales look strong now but the Wii is showing signs of a quick burner. With 3rd parties outright ignoring the console, its going to drop hard in the coming years. In fact I'm willing to make my first prediction here and it'll be a bold one: Five years from now, the Wii will have not sold even 100m (also TLG still won't be released).

right on the money as usual.

Truly a great prediction good sir!

Damn, I'm impressed.

Although I wish you had been wrong about TLG.

Quite obviously a fabrication as this thread was made in 2008 and Jay has been a member since 2010. Notice he said 5 years. Or maybe I should have just let him troll some more people :).

Man, that's low. I guess it serves me right for taking someone on the internet at his word :)

Yes but you forgot to account for the Great Space-Time Continuum Collapse of 2010.

Google it.

Goddamn at those predictions lol. It won't even pass the PS1.

No The reason being exactly the same as I said when the Wii was released and selling so well. Breakdown rate and repurchase My son had several ps2s during its lifespan but the Wii was still the original one that we eventually sold on eBay. The PS2 may have and will sell more but I do believe it is the same people having to re-buy one after it's broken down. I can also find no other explanation why a system that has over 150 million sales manages quite pathetic software sales when it comes to titles selling over 10 million.

Damn you're OLD!! and you were right!

Pass ps2!!? How about it passes PS1 first. In the end i wouldn't even be suprised if PS3 outsold Wii...
