Well, yeah.  Freedom Wars + Freedom Wars G/Burst/Ace/Delta/Xtreme Legends might make it to a million if they're lucky, but God Eater is still ~300k away from reaching that mark and that was by far and a way the biggest success story so far.  

It's nice to have big expectations, but it's even nicer to have realistic expectations.

I'd love for the game to sell 1m; I just see it being an incredible uphill struggle given the userbase and the fact that only one game has made it so far.

I think allot of people underestimate PSN digital sales..............
I have over 30 Vita games and they are all digital purchases.
I do not own any physical copies of Vita games.

I think it'll be lucky to have gotten ~ 50k digital sales.  In 2010, the PSP really wasn't pushing the bigger digital percentages that 3DS/Vita are now.

I really doubt it will ever happen, but at least this could mean that Sony is aiming to make this game on a big IP. Bundles, animes, mangas, marketing, they are probably preparing to give it a big push. At least I think they are, I mean, hopefully they are not expecting the game to sell based on consumer word alone (mouth to mouth marketing).

Sony was never this optimistic about vita's software sales.. Maybe they're actually preparing some huge stuff, especially with the chinese market now open.

Soul Sacrifice was sent out to die in the West. It was also a much more niche "mature" theme so there's definitely scope for much better sales. 1m seems incredibly optimistic for a new IP when some of the 7th gen's biggest IPs couldn't crack 1m properly on Vita.
