I think is going to look a lot like the art for ALBW, which i love.
Similar to SS but very different at the same time. The tech demo looked gorgeous by 2011 but today is just good looking. They will need a really particular art pushed to the limit to make people WOW again imo.

THIS!!!!!!! If it stuck to any art style, I would hope it was this!!! Bring back kid Link, make it look like a mix between ALBW and Journey, and you have a visual masterpiece.

Then remake Twilight Princess a year later for graphix fags.

You, sir, are a true Zelda fan. Respect.

I thought the demo looked stunning but it was only running on a pc setup with a similar gpu to wii u. I would expect Zelda U to look worse than this as this likely had a huge advantage in cpu resources. Has anyone seen anything close to this already on wii u? I've not seen anything resembling this graphic quality on an actual wii u.

I strongly suspect this is beyond a wii u's capabilities.

Super Mario 3D World would very much like to have a word with you, and that game was only scratching the surface.

I don't know why people go through this every generation, assuming first wave/gen games on a new platform represent as good as the system is ever going to be able to produce, when gaming history stretching all the way back to the Atari 2600 has shown us that as a console's life expands, developers learn to better use the hardware, and you get bigger games and better looking ones to boot. It happened with NES, SNES, N64, GC, and Wii. It'll happen with Wii U. There will be games that look much better than that tech demo on Wii U, you can take that to the bank.

I think it will have a better art style, but not entirely sure about the actual graphics.

I voted worse, but afterwards, considering the demo was in a closed environment, I think the impressive levels of reflections and detail of the shadows are actually possible.
But then again, I dont think its frame-rate will be that smooth. It looked above 60 in that video.

imagine this made of polygons , textures and shading

The game will look better, but loads of people on the internet will complain that the demo was obviously superior for one reason or another. It's the Zelda cycle.

I desperately want to believe it will look better, but the pessimist in me expects it'll be more toon garbage.

From a purely technological standpoint, I believe the final game will be better than the tech demo.

I don't think art design matters now. There has been a ridiculous level of negativity about the art design of nearly every Zelda game since Wind Waker, and I don't expect that to change.

I'd say not better, but the same.
