Funny, I just finished Mass Effect 3 on my WiiU last Friday. AMAZING game, so I decided to replay 2 on my PC. Reinstall it and bam, 1080p60. I sit there in awe for about 20 seconds. I guess I forgot what silky smooth true HD feels like (guess WiiU can do that to you). Then I said to myself, “what the hell have I done?”. I then proceeded to order the PC version of Mass Effect 3, this will NOT happen again.

On Topic:

I can only guess. But I think they did delay it to space out content more evenly.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Here is the reality...

If you look up the list of products published by Nintendo article on Wikipedia you will see that we already know of about 9 of the 11 games Nintendo will publish for the Wii U this year. The aprox 2 games we don't know about are not going to make this year any better then last year (system sales wise). Chances are those 2 other games won't even be produced by Nintendo, only published by them.

Something went side ways at Nintendo back in 2011:

Nintendo only published 7 home console games that year and really only produced 6 of those games.

In 2012 Nintendo published 11 games for home consoles but only created 6 in house.

In 2013 Nintendo published 12 console games but only created 7 in house.

Nintendo can not carry an entire console with so little output from it's developers. The Wii U was already dead back in 2011. Nintendo didn't put the effort into beefing up it's internal workforce when it needed to.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Of course they did. Donkey Kong has been done for a while. However, MK8 probably won't come until April or later so without DK they'd have literally nothing.
