I really don't think the Vita is going to be a success. I feel the question is merely when I buy myself a 3DS and get to play exciting games like Bravely Default. I don't even think that we're going to get another dedicated handheld. Hopefully we at least get another XPERIA Play or a good controller cradle for a phone

The PSP became more and more successful as more exclusives like both GTA Stories, both GOW Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, Silent Hill Origins, MGS Peace Walker, Gran Turismo, KH Birth by Sleep, etc, were released. The Vita needs original games like prequels or interquels of all those great game franchises, not ports of said games. Also cheaper hardware would help :p
