Ridley is supposed to be a giant. I don't want a scaled down Ridley, it would feel awkward and it would'nt be Ridley.

Keep him as a boss or stage hazard.

Its heavily hinted he'll be a stage hazard (on the Metroid Other M wiiu stage )

I will play with him if he is a playable character but if he is not I will not be sad. I think there are more important characters than Ridley in all the Nintendo franchises. I can not think about another so important Metroid character. No matter what happens I think he would be a very unique character.

Poor little metroid. They named the game after you, and nobody even knows you exist.

To be fair, Metroids are just big energy-sucking, massive-teethed jellyfish . 

Unless we go into the more advanced forms of Metroids....now those are some serious badasses. Queen Metroid FTW
