Forums - Gaming - What are some rage inducing moments you remember in games?

I´m replaying God of War 3 on hard difficulty, and had forgotten just how rage inducing that battle near the end of the game can be, the one where you fight a big cerberus along with 3 fucking satyrs (imo, the worst enemies in the game)

Dark Souls: fighting those two bosses without any help and not using any magic..not only are you outnumbered but the camera is also your 3rd enemy.

Don't you just turn the Satyrs to stone?

Mine would have to be the Xenogears back to back to back boss fights inbetween 20 minutes of cutscenes you COULDN"T FUCKING SKIP IF YOU LOST ONE!#@$!#@!

The Uncharted 3 ballroom fight was also aggravating.

getting really far in skyrim and dying and i forgot to save

i turn autosave off cuz for some reason it annoys me

Crysis 2's checkpoint save. Since they removed save were ever you want from 1. It saved me next to those giant robots in NYC with 0 ammo anywhere. So I had to restart the whole level.

Having a handicapped team (AI included) on a Gears of War 3 online match. Look, I am not a great player, but when you're level 300 and you die like you're a huge imbecile (and giving points to the enemy team) then you are definitively doing something bad. Probably a feeder.

AI are also horrible. Enemy AI tend to be incredible smart and capable, yet my own team AI seems retarded. Especially awesome is when they down an enemy, equip the smoke grenade and throw it at their dying body, giving that enemy more than enough time to wake up again and kill my AI teammate. What the fuck.

When my ps3 froze during the final boss in Hyperdimension Neptunia, and i didn't save.

Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?

Why can't I hold all these no gaemz?

Always looking to improve my awful drawings ;_;

You should have hired me.  I had a straight Vit alchemist that hit like a kitten but was nearly unkillable.  I once broke an Emp with her, though, which was hilarious.  I never hesitated to be the first one in.

On topic, I've said this before, but GFWL produced the most rage I've ever known in my gaming career.

In Xenogears, there was this part where the camera zoomed out and you were platforming in your mecha on what felt like a microscopic scale.  I kept falling because I couldn't bloody see what I was doing.

Alundra.  There was a part where you had to make a SERIES of very hard jumps in a row.  Miss one and you'd have to start all over--and you had to do this while enemies were running around.  I still see that segment in my nightmares.

Borderlands.  NG++.  You're a badass, your enemies are all badass, but your car is the same as when you started the game.  Because it would explode and kill you, it was better to get out of the car if you were fighting a monster, though it took time to climb out.  I died more times because of that than anything else.  It was like, "oh crap, that's a super elite baddie, climb out climb--BOOOM.  Goddamnit."  Bad design to make everything scale except for your vehicle.

What part was that?...I might remember..was it a tower?

Yah, it was some kind of tower that you had to climb to the top.  I remember you had to jump on some pipes or tubes.  It was like trying to guide an insect.

Ah yes, Babel Tower. To this day, I truly think the developers were trolling us with the first part of that dungeon.

"Oh you want to make a jump to that pipe over there? Go ahead, you can make it."

**goes forward and hits the jump button**

Random battle load muthafucka! We'll let you keep moving forward, but the jump button is now disabled. Enjoy the bottom of the map.

Monster Hunter Tri.

Man, that game enraged me so much.

Probably COD 4 on Veteran difficulty.

Mario Kart on the Wii, 9970 online ranking (for the first time), comfortably leading, last lap, within sight of the finish line. Blue shell. Blue shell and finally another blue shell, actually not finally, because then a red shell. The whole field now rushing around me. Eighth place and lost I can't even remember how many hundred points......not happy.

GT5 Grand Tour - Eiger Nordwand Gold
I almost went mad doing this. I spent more hours on just this single race than most other games ive played.

Being a gamer isnt enough for this, you have to be a world class f***ing driver to beat this.
