I would have to agree with this honestly. I love platformers, and a good turn-based RPG will get me excited in all the right places but nothing gets me like a great SRPG. I actually ended up playing Disgaea 2 in my sleep.

If I had to name as few as possible, I would probably end up with:

wRPG (specifically not Japanese)
strategy games (specifically not tactics)

I play a lot of other stuff too, though. The only genres I can't stand are jRPGs, sports games, and racing games. If we get specific, then anything in WW2 and/or with too many ganstas (GTA) is probably out as well. =P
