Announce a $200 or less bundle with at least a 64gb card.

I have a Vita and love it. However, I do think that it's too late for the VIta to really turn things around. Public perception is not going to change much at this stage in time. Most people who've made up their minds that the Vita is garbage are not going to change their minds no matter what.

Well you are right, public reception is so negative for it that it is so hard to turn things around for it. I don't blame them. Sony is to blame for letting it end up like that.

The only thing i'm optimistic about is that Sony will try to turn things around. It might be too late though...

I already have one but I'm still hoping for more localization of games like Tales Of, FF Type-0, God Eater 2 etc...

- Have a library not necessarily of blockbuster games, but games that "fit" on a handheld. I'm thinking something similar to the GBA's library.

This sentiment always bemuses me.

What is a "handheld" game? I see this argument brought up quite a lot in why the 3DS is doing so much better. But then games such as Starfox 64 and Ocarina of Time are cited as games "perfect for handheld". These were both full AAA home console titles back on the N64. The GBA game library was also an awful lot of SNES style games (to fit the power of the hardware more than to be "great for on the go").

The Vita has an awful lot of games ideal for portable gaming. However, and I think this is the single biggest issue, it doesn't have exclusive big name software.

I love all the indie games etc coming out on it (if these aren't perfect for portable gaming, I don't know what is!) but they've generally already been on PC or PS3 previously, or they're released simultaneously.

The 3DS on the otherhand, has enjoyed lots of huge name Nintendo IPs which you can't play anywhere else. It's nothing to do with "being suitable for portable play" it's purely "can't play anywhere else" that is the driving factor.

That said, if Tearaway isn't enough to convince you to buy a Vita, you're not a gamer. TRUFAX.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

40 virgins when I die. I would still probably not play it.

I had never planned to purchase a Vita originally, but I received one as a birthday present and now I use it just about every day. Like a lot of other people, I had accepted the popular opinion that there are no games on the Vita and so never bothered to confirm for myself. That is, until I got the Vita and I actually looked at the game catalog and boy was it a pleasant surprise. It actually has an incredibly diverse library of games. If you want big AAA exclusives - you have Uncharted: GA, Killzone: Mercenary, Resistance: Burning Skies, Assassin's Creed: Liberation, LittleBigPlanet Vita, Tearway, Unit 13, COD, Soul Sacrifice, Arkham Origins Blackgate, etc. For smaller titles you have Velocity Ultra, Guacamelee, Spelunky, Hotline Miami, etc. And for JRPGs you have Persona 4 Golden, Y's Memories of Celceta, Ragnarok Odyssey, Sorcery Saga, etc.

I have around 7-8 Vita games in my backlog, which is more than enough to keep me busy for a long long time.

VitaTV release.

Same

Guys... do i need a vita to use vitaTV?

Can you plz explain to me why should i get a vita, if vitaTV comes to west? I don't get it

I'm not gonna have the vitaTV is or is not a PSVita argument.  I look at the devices as the same hardware. I want a vitaTV to remote play my ps4 to other tvs in my house.

Ok i respect your opinion, but, realistically speaking thery are two different things, which do different things...
