So, not to dig too deep into the details, for various reasons when i was younger i invested pretty much all of the money i got from inheritance of a family members passing into stocks, can someone please work out the current market value of the following:

205 shares in Apple Computer
150 shares in Microsoft
100 shares in eBay
50 shares in Amazon
100 shares in Nintendo

These figures are from before the apple stock splits in 2000 and 2005 is that matters.

Individual breakdown and/or total would be great, preferably kowenicki since he seems to be pretty good with stock market info.
I'd do it myself but its all moonspeak to me with all the stock splits and so on.

My investment at the time of purchasing (between 1996 and 2000) was in total just under 25,000 USD.

Just go to any stock ticker site (yahoo or google finance) and look up what the current bidding prices are. Times that by the number of shares you have. Take into consideration that there's a broker fee for every transaction.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

Sooo.. signed up, put in all the stock purchase dates and so on, and my total is at $373,307

$25,000 to $373,307, seriously, holy fuck.

sell everything you have for sony stocks. is very risky though but might be worth it in the long term.

Possibly the worst advice of all time.

id stick with what you have except for Nintendo.

Decent prospects, apple and microsoft are currently undervalued, and decent yields from some of them too.

playing it save huh? well, that way he's never getting the 25k back.

That's basically what I'm planning on doing unless I have a sudden need for a large lump of cash, which is unlikely, I have 450k or so across savings and various ISA's on 6.5k usd/month salary.

If it all goes tits up and drops in value then so be it, but for the time being I don't really see much of a cause to cash in my chips though as you say, selling off the nintendo is tempting, i could hold out for a possible repeat of the wii but with the way the industry and device usage is going i really doubt Nintendo are willing to change themselves enough to come close to another Wii situation.

sorry, missread it. thought it was 330 bucks. was wondering how those stocks could lose so much in value though but hey... did not question it further and just took it for a given.

You can create porftolio's on seeking alpha, cnn money, bloomberg and probably much more sites.
Every stock is up bigtime, except for microsoft and nintendo.
Also the dividend will be some nice money that will cover some losses if you bought in the 2001 stock bubble.
