mines a 32" phillips 1080i. My first flat panel tv. I bought it off craigslist for $50

Mine is a 32'' Sony Bravia 1080p from 2011 ;O - I got it new during black friday 2011 for like $300 alongside my PS3 purchase (which was $200)!

those are good 2011 bf prices! Especially a Sony.  I was going to get mine in bf '13 but found this mid year.

I bought my first HD tv when I bought my PS3. 1080p and still works great too. Amazing image quality and all that jazz. Really expensive but it's incredible that half a decade later it still looks better than 99% of the TVs you see in stores.

If you were wondering, yes it is a Sony TV

About two years ago we decided to buy a 3D tv for a different room. Also 1080p, but what's unique about it is the fact it uses passive technology instead of active shutter glasses. Saved a boat load of money by just taking glasses from theaters and using those. I have a huge extended family so having 30+ pairs of glasses in a bucket works great. Who cares if a kid breaks them Being passive also means each eye gets 1920x540 at 60fps instead of 1920x1080 at 30fps. In movies it works great but with 720p games the aliasing becomes very annoying. It has a bunch of smart features but I never use them.

I'm not a fanboy though. This TV is LG.

Just this Christmas actually I got another TV. It's a very small 24" one though. 1080p which I use for work. It's either plugged into my computer acting as a second screen or else hooked up to a kit. I'm really impressed with the quality considering was far from top of the line. Its smart features are cool. Due to the environment it's pretty nice to stream youtube on it. Like my 3D TV it's not connected to cable.

It's a Vizio.

Now if only my computer screen wasn't 900p.

Mine is now a 1080p 32 inch LG TV which I bought 5 months ago. I used to have a 47 inch LED one, but then I moved :'(

I have two 42 inch 1080p LED's--one in my gaming room (Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and DirecTV connected) that's 240 hertz with all kinds of bells and whistles and one in my living room (Xbox 360 and broken PS3 connected). I also have a small 1080i TV in one of my bedrooms with a Wii connected and another 1080i tv 40 inch, I think, which hasn't been used for gaming in years.

Those are usually kinda pricey.

How much did you pay for it?

1080p

Bought it specifically for my ps4.

Wise decision.

Aye!

This is it.

The best part is the super thin bezel. It's a smart tv too so I guess thats a bonus. And all for $300 :P

480i  :(

I don't get why you'd ask about 1080p vs 1080i.  A better poll would be 720p, 1080p or even those 2 along with 480i.  1080i isn't that popular.

Every 720p TV is capable of 1080i.

1080p
Sony Bravia 46"
paid $750 in 2010 when I got my PS3

Not sure to be honest, I just know I have a TCL 32" LED. Its price was at 1 000:- RMB. According to Oanda.com that's €120 or $160.

My guess is that it's a 720p/1080i TV. But it could be 1080p. But since it's a 32" I can't say that I care so much, as you can see. I would only care if I would to buy a larger TV, maybe if it was a 42", but absolutely larger than that.

Where I live at now a 32" TV is big enough. :)

LG LCD 32 inch 1080p. Got it for my birthday about 5 years ago. Tons of inputs for all my consoles. It's been a damn fine TV, but I'd like to upgrade it soon. I'd like to get something in the 46 inch LED area. Probably Korean made again 'cause the girlfriend is Korean and she doesn't like it when I buy Japanese stuff over Korean.. *le eye roll*
