Thread topic says it all. The evidence seems to point that PS4 shortages may be near the end. But they still sell out quickly at Amazon USA.

I think many Brazilians are buying through Amazon US...


Correction every Brazilian in theyre right mind are buying trough Amazon US, I got mine that way and I payed a total of 450 $ (Tax included), granted I might have goten lucky with taxes for whatever reason, many Americans payed more than that for theyre PS4s

Mine is official from Sony Brazil... paid R$2700 with Killzone... 1 year warranty plus Nota Fiscal Paulista.

R$ 2700 with warranthy isnt a bad deal, I only got mine whithtou oficial warranthy cause Amazon refunds you anyway even if youre on Brazil, I have been refunded in the past and didnt even need to ship the stuf back to them. Theyre pretty awesome. The initial price of my PS4 with taxes was 700$ but I got a 250$ refund 2 weeks ago wich I spent in a WiiU (free WiiU is not a bad deal lol, I wanted to play Matio 3D land and DK Tropical Freeze bad, also Zelda Wind Waked HD but not as much as the first 2).

 

Id say 1100 R$ more or less for a PS4 and a WiiU was quite a good deal I got.

I almost bought it on Amazon too but it got Sold Out before I finished the process... even with the tax I was paying ~R$1600... it was a really good deal... R$1000 less than what I paid.

I don't regret it because I wanted to have the National warranty.

I pre-ordered mine on the E3 PS4 price reveal night, I remember it was quite insane the amount of pre-orders they got, the next day you couldnt pre-order it anymore hehe. Ppl did go mad with the PS4, Sony has it all going for them this gem they only need ot bring some good AAA exclusives to seal the deal. I am a bit worried with this last part tough it doesnt seen liek theyre putting much efort into bringing us exclusives in 2014 and that could hurt considering the amount of games the One has coming.

Nope. We might get some stock in now, but I don't think the shipments are going to be that large. Japanese launch is just a few weeks away, so they need to start stockpiling for that

Id wager they already did quite a bit of stockpilling by now, if Sony can manufacture 1.2-1.5 mil units per month as rumors indicate they havent sold everythign they manufactured since they started assembling PS4s if you do the math, so I believe there are some units stored for the Japanese launch already.
