We’re less than a month away from the much awaited Japanese release of the PS4 and Sony launched a new promotional campaign oddly named “Play & Peace.” The campaign, centered around a new website, will include promotions and events building up to and following the launch day of the console in the archipelago of the rising sun.
The full slogan of the campaign evokes a quite strong message: “Play & Peace: uniting the world with play.” According to Sony it symbolizes the whole world sharing the feelings created by the new entertainment experience coming with the PlayStation 4, wanting to impress the world and flood it with smiles (where did I hear this one before?).
The first initiative of the new campaign is the second edition of the Try! PlayStation 4 event, that this time around will hit Japan’s biggest cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
The event will be held in Tokyo at the main Sony headquarters in Ginza from February 1st to March 2nd, in Osaka on February 8th and 9th and in Nagoya on February 15th and 16th.
During the days mentioned above Japanese gamers will be able to get hands on with the following titles:

Looks like Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia isn’t content with the solid pre-order numbers boasted by President Hiroshi Kawano, and wants to give Japan a last push towards “greatness,” even if locally the company has preferred to use “peace” as a theme for its launch slogan.
