The PSP's launch price ($250) was considered as outrageous as the PS3's launch price ($500/$600) when you compared it to the Nintendo DS ($150) and GBA ($130).


 It was not the $250 that was riduculous, it was the £180 for the UK, $360, and the same price as the Wii at launch. Anyway, it was still less than half, and the price has come down significantly since then
