Wiisports has sold at a ratio of (roughly) 5/8 to hardware sales so I assume Wii hardware is roubhly 90,000 units?

Not bad, five Wii titles in the top 10 and Nintendo with a clean sweep of the top 15.

Ouch, ouch, ouch... seriously, no PS3 titles? Nada, nyet, nein, rien? Even the 360 made it on the list, and we all know how its hardware sales are doing over in the land of the rising sun...

Not even one! This just doesn't look good for the PS3 at all, IMO.

Im itching to see hardware. With Wii sports being that high, if the attach rate holds we are talking 90 - 95k. But with BBA and OPiece, Im wondering if hardware eeked in just over 100k. If they managed to ship that many I might have a little faith that Nintendo will be able to ship a decent amount of systems this holiday season.

If not I still stand by having no reason to believe they will be ready for demand late this year.

Also it was reported that One Piece for Wii sold through its entire shipment which surprises me. People that reviewed the game on GAF said it was just flat out HORRIBLE. But I guess that doesnt mean much for the average gamer lol. 

This is a bad time to be a PS3 or PSP owner in Japan, because Nintendo is sweeping the floor with the competition.

Didn't Sinobi say 200k or so for DS, and 75k for Wii?  He is usually within 10% +/-..I think he may have underestimated some stuff a tad this time.

 If thewii is at 70 to 75k then the wii sports, hell... ALL of the wii games have an outstanding attach that week.

First of all PSP releases are horrible. A few best versions, bunch of remakes and that's almost it. Have, almost had Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition but that game highly dissappoints me that it's one of the first PSP games I'm kicking his butt. Same delusion with FFIII. WII Sports is "not" bundled with the WII in Japan, like in Europe / America. So high sales of the game doesn't mean the same amount of sales with the hardware. And don't underestimate the power of Paper Mario it had a solid second week of sales.

Is there anybody that knows the attach ratio for xbox360 in japan? Seems that it is almost selling more games than PS3.
