Think about that. Not to bash on TLOU but just think about how many people gave Skyrim GOTY even on PC when the whole "menu navigation" was copy pasta from consoles with 0% PC optimization.
Awards are worth exactly nothing especially since you can buy those...
I didn't realize Skyrim won so many awards. I really need to get around to playing that game - and TLOU, if I ever do end up buying a PS3.

This years poor quality? Some of the finest games of all time have released this year.
Grand Theft Auto V - Second highest rated game of all time and I don't think I even need to mention the sales.
Bioshock Infinite - Critics and people alike calling it one of the best FPS this generation..need I say more?
Super Mario 3D World - Many, many people on this site have claimed its better than any mario game they have played in the past and only being compared to classics such as Mario Galaxy, Mario 64, Mario Galaxy 2 which are considered some of the best games of all time.
And for the people saying it didn't get tough compettion it did. GTA V has almost 150 awards..also one of the most in recent time.
