I get that the 3DS version of Smash Bros. will sell more than the Wii U version, but I can't understand people being more exited for the 3DS version. The only thing that seems better about it is that you can play it on the go.

The 3DS should have a solid year, if not spectacular. The PS3 is still going to move some software. The Wii U and the Vita have some bare cupboards. Nice showing by Freedom Wars but that's all in Vita-land. They have a lot of games scheduled, just no massive hits.

Yup, Nintendo not securing more Japanese developers outside of themselves is definitely not helping.

OT: Mario Kart 8 above DK:TF and Super Smash Bros.? I thought Japan didn't like the MK games all that much?
