You are so desperate arent you. Really?
When Microsoft are fined let me know. Machinima even said themselves on their own that Microsoft knew nothing about Machinimas Confidentiality agreement. Even then it wasnt referring to the promotion at all. We will see if Machinima are fined. But Microsoft had nothing to do with it. I know it hurts, but its true.

It's just strange that the outrage exists when the ball is in Microsofts corner but when Sony contracts suddenly appear noone will give a a damn. its not about the paying itself its about trolling the other team
Please stop with this bullshit. When the same thing will happen with Sony involved make a thread and check how everyone reacts, if it's how you say you may make a comment like this, before it's just trolling. So yeah of course it's not about the paying itself, you're here to change the subject, bash Sony and it's fanbase without any proof.
bullshit? it's true whether you want to accept it or no.
Flamingwhateverishisname merely used it as an excuse to bash microsoft and he got called out on it. then you have some people defending him just to rile the situation up. and you dare looking at me, get a grip
Called out??? I never used anything as an excuse, Ms and machinma provided ample reason too. Again companies liek MS or any modern company do NOT sign off on these contracts by third parties without scanning everything by legal numerous times. It's called compliancy, and it is huge in the industry. MS knew full well what they were doing and are not back tracking cause they got caught. Machinma has zero to gain from hiding the prtomotion.
MS -------------------------signed contract ----------- Machinima ---------------- OTHER CONTRACT -------- Users
so ofcourse ms looks into the OTHER CONTRACTS because ye they don't
Compliancy today requires companies to knwo even what their third party contracts entail, if you are in one with said third party, google PCI compliance...........MS knew well what the overall deal was. Again if you dealt with compliance, IT at work this is common knowledge.

No, just no. All they know is what is in their own agreement. Which would be price, duration, numbers of hits and so on, but no info about contracts with the suppliers of the content
