It's funny when you think that EVERYONE is focusing on Titanfall and yet PS4 has Infamous: Second Son which is ONLY lagging behind Titanfall by 26,000 pre-orders.
I don't think Titanfall is going to have the "desired" effect that many Xbox fans think it will. It'll be out on 360 AND PC too. That's going to hurt "any" potential boost in Xbox One console sales.
Think about it for a second. Why are there so many Xbox Ones still on store shelves? Main reason is because people are more interested in PS4 AND they already have the 360.
Why bother splashing $500 on a new console JUST for one game?
Lastly, Titanfall WILL NOT kill off COD. They're both completely different games. If Titanfall was as big as everyone says it is then why isn't it being launched side by side with COD? It can't compete with the "BEAST" that is COD. For the first time COD was humiliated sales wise by another game in the form of GTA V. Activision will not want a repeat of that. Expect some serious backlash from them.
Only time will tell.
