Just wondering, but how reliable has this source been in the past? I don't know anything about them, so their track record would be useful for knowing whether to take this seriously or treat it as just another random rumour.

Same here, but lately I been hearing a lot a new console from Nintendo and the way it sounds, it been ib the work for awhile now, if that's the case....what was the Wii Uvand 3DS for?

I don't know, there's talk from Devs and sources that Nintendo is having a press conference sometimes this month, mainly this firday, that's where we'll get our awnser.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

LOL i had a good laugh!

So is this the next DS? With a slide out screen? So I guess no more clamshell, which is the hardware feature I'm jealous of as a Vita owner. Adreno 420 seems quite high end http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_(system_on_chip)#Snapdragon_805

It comes with the very latest high end snapdragon, so I'd imagine the system is a while off

So the concept is dual screens, then some sort of home dock? I guess the idea is that they combine the 2 systems, but there is no reason to replace either console for another few years

I'm really confused.

LMAO that's all i can say, you guys really... i'll just shut up

Could be for 2016, like someone else said. 2016 would be the natural time to replace the 3DS even under ideal conditions, and if the Wii U does indeed continue in this manner, few will protest moving on after only 4 years on the market (and hey, Microsoft got away with that with the original Xbox anyway)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The console is using a weakened R9 290x level GPU with DDR4 memory? Sounds like it's gonna be expensive, then. I'm not convinced.

Hell no, a 290X would drain the battery in minutes. It'd be something else from AMDs new line, quite probably a mobile 'M' variant which I don't think we've seen anything of yet.

As for the people screaming fake, well... it might be, but let us have our fun

And so these specs and more have emerged in not one but two units called Nintendo Fusion DS and Terminal. Yes, that was the name of the Nintendo lead rock tour in the 2000s. So, what are those specs?

>Inductive Charging Surface for up to 4 FUSION DS or IC-Wii Remote Plus Controllers
>Two versions: Disk Slot Version with 60 Gigs of Internal Flash Storage and Diskless Version with 300 Gigs of Internal Flash Storage.

Those come from Gaminrealm, which also quotes one unnamed source stating - in an incredibly garbled manner:

"“Nintendo has already begin making demo software for the targeted prototype hardware in efforts to curb the Wii U mistake in the software pipeline (they started creating software after prototyping and were unable to give major software push the first two years as a result). Nintendo plans to make most of the software prototypes into games and applications around the launch of the unit.”

All of this is fake. Those specs would be out of date in the next 4 or 5 years. It looks impressive now, but what would the purpose be to use DDR3 and DDR4 when DDR3 may be obsolete in 4 or 5 years.

6 MB of L4? Heck, L4 caches have been at least 64 MBs since 2010. If you're going to waste your time with 6MB, you might as well just stick with L3.

Lastly, we barely know what's in the Wii U. How the heck would someone have detailed specs on the next system? LOL.

This, lol.

Yeah this does sound fishy. If this turns out to be true I bet it's something like a smartdevice. They DID apparently sign some sort of new deal for hw parts, according to that rumor last week. Could this be it?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
