Forums - Sales - Sales in France 2013 PS4 : 240.000 Xbox One : 126.000

After looking at the sales of Germany, France, and Spain, I thought the sales in those countries would be much higher. I assume it was because of the low amount of PS4's sent to those regions though, Still, the UK is much more impressive in terms of console sales despite a lower population than both France and Germany.

3rd-party trackers.

PS4

US: 2,002k
UK: 530k
GE: 250k
FR: 240k
ES: 157k
PT: 21k

TOTAL: 3,200k (+ 45 countries)

Xbone

US: 1,817k
UK: 364k
GE: 100k
FR: 126k
ES: 35k

TOTAL: 2,442k (+ 8 countries)

So...., around 600k Xbox One sold in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Mexico and New Zealand???? Highly improbable when UK+GER+FRA+SPA sums 625k.

Seems Microsoft lied about the numbers or the 3m numbers were shipments....Or somebody explain me the numbers.

And PS4, seems it sold 1m in the same plus 8 markets like Xbox One plus another 37 markets. It's a lot too but there are some many markets it's difficult to make an assumption.

In France and Germany the PC is very popular.

Well ioi's estimates...

Xbone
North America - 2.03m
Latin America - 50k
UK - 370k
France + Germany - 210k
Spain + Portugal - 40k
Italy - 50k
Rest of Europe - 20k
Australia + NZ - 130k

PS4
North America - 2.19m
Latin America - 140k
UK - 530k
France - 190k
Germany - 250k
Spain + Portugal - 200k
Italy - 120k
Rest of Europe - 230k
Australia + NZ - 100k
Middle East + Asia - 160k

The bolded are the parts not accurate for now... Xbone was not launched in Portugual so the sales are 35k for Spain only, not a big deal... the PS4 bold with -50k off in France and +20k off in Spain... so -30k undertracked if you sum them.

So for now they are accuracte... we need LA, AUS and Italy sales.

Mmmm... OK, it makes sense, I guess...I didn't expect so much in Australia+NZ. We count the rest of NA as a tie for PS4 and XB1 too?? because without USA it seems both sums around 200k.

PC gaming and stock
You really can't get a PS4 by just walking in before March as far as i know from retailers here in Austria.
Germany and co are the same and maybe even worse cause we share all the same good taste....They still try to work off the Release PreOrders.

And PC gaming as someone said is damn strong here.
Everyone in my Steam Friendlist(around 90 people) will buy a PS4 but they still don't see a reason right now and of course can't get one anyway at the moment.
And yes they have seen Titanfall - They are not interested in it cause of Battlefield 4 and stuff and if they are they would buy it on PC aka the definitive version.
Sony would just need to rival Microsoft in the UK and the US - Europe and co will secure the win and widen the gap.
