I have seen many threads defending Nintendo's decisions and claim the hate is unjustified on the internet. But is there another side to this? MAYBE Nintendo deserves the hate it's getting. Let's look at why gamers might be pissed shall we.

- Nintendo releases hardware that is comparable to the Xbox 360 for ~three times the price when the Wii U first came out

-Wii U got two price cuts right away screwing over early adopters

-Tablet was never used as advertized

-Games got delays

-Huge game drought

-Lack of 3rd party support even thought it was promised when the Wii U first came out

-Lack of online profile unification

-Virtual console on Wii U sucks

If you're a shareholder you'd be furious at Nintendo for letting stock prices hit the flo'

Add more if you'd like. I'm just trying to point out if there seems like a lot of Nintendo hate around this neck of the woods maybe just MAYBE it's deserved. Sony got it's hate in 2006/2007 and rightfully so imo

I don't think it's power is comparable to 360, there are many roumors saying is stronger or weaker than what it seems/is, that I've stopped caring. The price has received one price cut.
They do deserve some hate, not as much as they're getting. But they deserve ALL the critiscism they're given.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

For the WiiU, Yes, they somehow outdid Microsoft's DRM dabacle in terms of failing.
For the 3DS, No it's a great handheld.

I would like to agree with you, but... Nintendo did indeed come up with, fund, put to market, push, and apologise about the Wii U. So Nintendo, in a way, does deserve some negative attention.

However, the 3DS also deserves more positive attention than it gets.

Just kidding of course!! Seriously all of these reasons you listed have been and are, currently preventing me from buying a Wii U. The need to hire some talent is glaringly obvious. The VC Wii U is terribly behind schedule along with everything else for it. They need more employee's or sumthing.
