They are going to show a couple of games, but that's it. The Vita is simply irrelevant to Sony.

Well all the developers who were busy with the ps3 may now be free, so I suspect them to have some 2 announced first party games, maybe Gran Turismo/Infamous and another game, if not all about indies and remote play/PSNOW.

Fixed. Japan seem to be pushing Vita and EU seem to be doing alright seeing as we just had KZ and Tearaway. US however have zero fucks to give and the sales show

Not totally ignored, but they'll concentrate on PS4. Sony could announce some PSV games, bundles and a price cut in a separated event, though.

As a Vita owner and fan, I hope they won't ignore it. I'm not expecting anything though, because from Sony's point of view it doesn't make any sense to invest in it any further, since the choice is between PS4 and Vita.

On one hand you have the PS4:
- great hardware sales, install base quickly growing
- good software sales
- positive image / hype
- 3rd party support
- market: undecided, competition struggling
- proven/receptive market

compared to the Vita:
- bad hardware sales, stagnant install base
- bad software sales
- negative image / no publicity ("dead")
- bad 3rd party support (except for indies)
- market: dominated by competitor and shrinking
- handheld-userbase not receptive towards Sony software (they would have to go through a lot of trial & error to find something that sticks - and there's no guarantee they'd actually find something); you can't force a system-selling runaway-success like Pokemon

So if you were a gaming company under financial strain like SCE, where would you invest? Where would you spend your 1st party resources?
