900k more shipped than sold, it definitely sounds like it's time to start saving up stock for launches in other countries-

Which countries would that be? Germany is around 100k units, and that is one of the biggest markets (and Amazon.de shipped units left and right). 900k is probably a good part for the rest of the world for quite some time...

If VGC is correct, this will last 8 weeks at the current rate.

X1 undertracked, xbox 360 undertracked Xbox sill ahead of the ps3 why isn't there a thread about this yet?

So 900k Xbox One on shelves already, with a new system that has an enormous hype launching in christmas...., and people doubted previous times X360 could have around 1-1'5 m on shelves when VGC showed that amount of difference respecting the shipments numbers and total sales....

Well, not very good sales numbers for Microsoft as they must've sold around 6m X360 plus 3m Xbox one in 2013, but of course what matters for Microsoft is always profits, so they must be satisfied.

They should sell around 15m total Xbox (360 and One) in 2014, improving the total numbers of 2013 IMO.

Agree about 360, there have been threads about it, but how is the X1 undertracked?

Yay. Every quarterly report reminds me just how small the other big 2 are by comparison. :)

Yes, I was thinking this.  How much 6 Billion is in profit for only 3 months.  It is amazing.  How many countries have an annual GDP of less than that?

Then, I realized their quarter revenue is larger than either the entire valuation of Sony or Nintendo.  It is staggering.

Also, so why is it so low on the front page if they have shipped so many?  (Oh, right the unspoken rule, lol.)

Sony's revenue was over $18 billion for the 3 months ending september.  That was higher than Sony's market capitalisation at any time during those 3 months.

The Xbox One has only released in 13 countries. It's not available in most of Europe, almost all of South America, and all of Asia. Those 900k are already shipped out to distributor

Did you even read the thread? Learn how much time it takes to ship containers from China to Europe/America/Africa (Hint: You can actually go to the website of the big freight companies and check the exact duration. You could even check which ships are involved).

And can we stop with this silly "only in 13 countries once and for all? It is available in Europe's entirety. Think Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Anazon.uk, Amazon.it.. Europe has, to a large extent, been covered for those people who "must have" an XBox One.
