Lana Del Rey totally got snubbed. "Young & Beautiful" is an amazing song and deserved AT LEAST a nomination.

Monsters University should have been on the nominees list over Despicable Me 2. Inexcusable.

As well with Tom Hanks for Captain Phillips and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug for Makeup and Costumes.

You'll have to wait for the Grammy thread to complain about that.

Funny enough, I'm listening to Young and Beautiful right now. How interesting!

Well if the movie would have gotten released on its orginal date it would have probably gotten nominated last year but still would have lost to Skyfall which really shouldn't have swept so many awards since its highly overrated and not even close to being one of the best Bond songs.

I haven't seen a lot of movies last year but I'm sure that Michael B. Jordan should have been nominated for a Best Actor and I also think that Hans Zimmer should have been nominated for Original Score the music in Man of Steel was just epic it might not ever become as iconic as the Superman theme from the old movies by John Williams but its still very good.

Michael B. Jordan ? what movie he in?

Despicable Me 2 was nominated but Monters University was left out...? What...? It's one of the most entertaining films Pixar has made.

Fruitvale Station he also was in Chronicle and before that he was probably best know for playing Wallace in The Wire.

Why? It was eligible for an Oscar too. It made it on the long list along with other Great Gatsby songs.

I think it got righfully snubbed since its not even as good as the first movie.  Also Disney is still going to win it since Frozen will most likely win it.

I'm not familiar with any of the songs that got nominated.  That being said the one by U2 that also won a Golden Globe will probably win it.
