Man i love the music for FF8. favorite PS1 game. it was a great moment to beat X-ATM092 during the seed exam. Destroy it, not just run when it regen's.

Something strong I assure you. I have this theory that they wrote disc 1 like normal, but after that they got bored out of their minds, smoke something, and wrote the rest of the game.

Yeah. Clearly that was created to give some sense and credibility to the plot, and most fans prefer to believe it.

Personally, I don't think the plot is senseless per say, but it is really damn weird, and takes a completely different direction after disc 1. But on the villain department, the game just sucks (which is why we have the Ultimecia = Rinoa theory), and that wound that magically heals from the end of disc 1/beginning of disc 2 is abolute bullshit.

Jesus, you're playing the original 8-bit version? That takes some patience, the PSP/DS remake is already pretty unfair when it comes to the difficulty (and I swear the CPU just fucking cheats)

I have completed all the numbered FFs in 2012. III was a pleasant surprise, although it's pretty annoying at times (no Phoenix Down on shops really confuses me). I and II were a bore, but other than that, I had fun with all of them, my favorite being FFIX. What's your favorite?
