It's not a popular final fantasy, but it still had great moments for me, and it is the last one I played. One of those moments was finally taking down one of these.

Finally beating FF12 was such a glorious moment after putting in over 130hrs of hunts, grinding, finding the hidden summons and what not. 

And despit being my favorite FF game, I dont know if I could ever give it a 2nd run. 

This is actually not a cutscene, but towards the end of Duodecim--just before the party goes up against the bosses--there's a little text exchange that's really one of the gems of the game.

At this point, everybody in the party knows they're going to make an Alamo-style last stand and die, but the way they react to it is radically different. Vaan tries to encourage everyone else that they can actually make it out alive and Lightning literally gets violent with him. "I'll put you to sleep myself!"

This caught me completely off guard. Dissidia is a cheap fan-service game. The last thing I expected was a franchise character like Lightning to crack under pressure, but in context it makes perfect sense. I really wish they had made this a cutscene.

The only correct answer is FF VI final boss. The most epic final boss in gaming history.

haha nice. Ive never beaten it but got really bored today so I switched it on and could easily do it, just cant be fucked with that amount of time

Are we talking chronologically by release or when the individual played them?

In that case, I'd probably have to agree with Final Fantasy VI's final battle...followed by the massive ending.

The "End of an era" from the original FF XIV is one of my favorite moments of the franchise.  The song featured in the scene, Answer-Susan Calloway, is one of my favorite song of any videogame soundtrack. 

Oh yes, this.. I was in that battlefield. My plan didn't work out the way I expected it.
